unting License: Valid LA Hunting License with State & Federal Duck Stamps.
Clothing: Check the local weather and dress accordingly (hat, face mask, and rain gear)
Footwear: Rubber knee boots work fine for walking down the levee to the blind.
Shotgun & Ammo: Because of our mixed bag of birds we recommend using a shotgun that can handle a variety of stell shot sizes. It is not uncommon to be shooting at teal one minute and speckled bellied geese the next. Bring no less than 3 boxes of steel shot shells per hunt. We recommend 1 box of smaller shot size for early teal and a larger shot size for big ducks and geese.
Beverages: We provide water and soft drinks during meals, However, each guest should bring an ice chest with whatever beverages they wish to consume during their stay with us.
Appetite: Plenty of good Cajun food will be served. With a standard hunting package we provide dinner the evening prior to the hunt and a light breakfast before heading out to the blind.
Accommodations: Due to blind rotation, we operate 3 (5 man blinds) per hunting season - this allows plenty of room for 12 hunters each hunt, so bring your family, employees, or clients - this is a great place for a corporate getaway. We have plenty of room for entertaining. Wi-Fi included at no cost. Ask about getting set-up for skeet shooting
